Representative Projects

* Corporate Global Information Technology Program Manager supporting Global Services (Customer, Professional and Education Services), Global Product and Business Operations, and Information Technology organizations. Managed projects from concept to realization of business benefits. Coordinated strategic planning, business case justifications, proposal approvals, level of effort, planning, execution and delivery through stabilization. Facilitated vendor evaluations, architecture and security reviews and assessments, third party software vendor agreements, and legal contract and privacy reviews.

* IT Program Lead for a global Saba on-premise to cloud-based platform transformation program for Education Services (ES). Coordinated IT, Finance and ES activities enabling continuity of learning curriculums, courses and history for employees, customers and partners, including uninterrupted preservation of $1M+ annual training revenue.

 

* Co-chaired a corporate cross-functional program team that modernized a customer asset management platform by transitioning from a proprietary on-premise architecture to cloud-based Amazon Web Services (AWS). Directed the IT technical team to develop and implement base and enhanced functionality with no downtime impacting customers. Technical solutions included SAP integration, interface middleware, user management, product, licensing, software downloads, trade compliance, end-user web pages and reporting.

 

* IT Lead for a corporate User Community on-premise platform migration to Khoros AWS hosted application, integrated with the Khoros Salesforce Connector for Case Management. Directed IT project delivery for the business-driven project that served customers, partners and employees.

 

* Directed IT activities and provided oversight for a Global Services Operations team in support of the Conga Document Management Professional Services Statement of Work (SOW) Automation project. Reduced time to quote and consolidated multiple processes.

 

* Project implementation and subject matter expert for the Workfront project management software application for a worldwide IT organization. Transformed IT business operations by establishing as the tool for managing IT activities, priorities and resources. 

 * Business Consultant supporting a Global Services organization portfolio including Customer, Professional and Education Services. Managed business request demand pipeline and priorities for IT related enhancements and projects. Coordinated planning, execution and delivery. Strategic and business case analysis, level of effort, project approvals for new proposals. Supported Salesforce, SAP, Customer Community, training, mobile, database, reporting and custom platforms.

 * Portfolio Manager for a Global Channel Sales organization. Provided direct support for all Channel IT related requests. Eighty percent (80%) of the corporation’s 2014 revenue of $1B was from Channel enabled sales completed using corporate applications.

 * Global Business Readiness Lead for SAP application upgrade and enterprise integration. Provided program leadership as a cross-functional change management agent and business and technical liaison. Managed end-user base, including security and access role mapping, communications for access, training and testing. Coordinated business simulation testing, transition sessions, and support centers from testing through stabilization.

 * Portfolio Manager for Marketing, Corporate Strategy and Legal organizations. Facilitated functional alignment & business partnerships. Project solutions included technology selection and business process optimization. 

 

* Directed a project from concept to completion to develop and implement an integrated database used for data mining to identify marketing and sales opportunities. Application provided real time customer and industry data for reporting.

 * Identified best practices for consistency and compliance for a premier global retailer’s portfolio program of retail merchandising and inventory systems projects including merchandise operations, forecasting, planning, master data management and data warehouse.

 * Project Management Consultant for a six (6) month $825K enterprise business systems applications conversion project. Planned and coordinated the conversion of customer (27) and trading partner (533) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions from legacy to enduring enterprise systems. Included product, pricing, promos, PO’s, shipping, invoices, ETF’s. Directed a team of analysts, developers and business resources through delivery; on time and on budget.

 * Project Manager for a new revenue generating, on-line, customer accessible banking application enabling web access to securities portfolios for counterparty risk monitoring & analysis. Coordinated product, development, test and implementation activities. Achieved production implementation and business acceptance in four (4) months.   

 * Facilitated a project to provide worldwide application and business support scalability for an on-line global inquiry management product. Lead a cross-functional business transformation team to develop and implement the project plan.

 Project planning & implementation consultant for the outsourcing conversion of a major client’s legacy fund accounting processing and custody systems, including application development, testing, and data conversion.  

 

* Information Technology Relationship Manager for eight client conversions representing $49.5B of assets under custody. 

 

* Defined and implemented a project management methodology for converting client facing technology deliverables (data reporting extracts, transaction messaging, client data access via the internet) from one bank to another bank's systems. 

 

* Development analysis and implementation planning for web-based client information delivery reporting upgrades.

 

* Analyzed information technology product introduction and change management processes to identify opportunities for reducing change related risk to production processing and client reporting. Initiated risk management improvement project. 

* Business process analysis and functionality documentation (current baseline and future state) for a business-critical end-to-end human resources/payroll information management system.

* Developed and implemented an integrated change management approach for controlling, evaluating, developing and implementing manual workarounds required due to loss of legacy system functionality during the implementation of a human resources/payroll system.

* Planned and managed customer software platform migration programs for an educational software services provider. 

* Developed and implemented an information change management control system for a food products manufacturer.

* Advised a medical school technology licensing office on developing and implementing project-based portfolio management and business development processes to increase pipeline visibility & revenue, while reducing case workloads.

* Prepared and presented a patent marketing & sales plan to a technology licensing office for a skin care treatment product.

* Advised a bioengineering technology institute on establishing an operational methodology to facilitate managing day-to-day activities, business planning & development, technology transfer and partnership management.

* Prepared and presented a model partnership development, marketing & sales plan to a bioengineering technology institute.

* Prepared curriculum and instructional materials for comprehensive courses in Operations & Project Management. Presented content for eight (8) on-campus and distance learning (on-line) sessions to over one hundred (100) students.
